We Are Far
'We Are Far' is a series of illustrations representing the spiritual journey of finding my inner peace.
As the global epidemic is constantly squeezing people's living spaces, changing their way of life and communication. Human beings are gradually divided from each other, in that circumstances, people pay too much attention to self-centred thinking, while ignoring the existence of the things around them. At the same time, their spiritual world is becoming increasingly deprived.
Therefore, I convey my emotional attachment to the natural world and hope to arouse resonance.
I · Where the Eyes Stand
In the world that far beyond our side,
there stands three monks.
One of them have a pair of stone eyes,
the other one have an unique eye,
and the last one have no eyes.
The wind blows
and the grasses grow,
the dark river running slow.
Could you tell me
Where will the clouds go?
II · Egg
Your willing casted a great shadow,
laid an anonymous egg.
You shall know the power of stone
when the edge of forest is dead.
Save me,
in this ultimate gazebo,
Come,
I will show my deepest soul.
III · Curtain
‘Someone says it's a comedy,
then the crowds burst into laugh.
Someone says it may not funny,
then why does he walk towards there.'
‘Human civilization was a mud slope near,
Welcome!
Welcome to sit the place
over my ear.'
IV · The Beginning of Origins
Water tied up as a rope,
Boundaries,
Rangers,
In dreams you will hear them roar.
Hatch the eggs,
Hatch their souls,
Do not left any possible crack
break our oath.
V · Thunderstorm
Climb, climb, climb,
climb into my night.
See through the dark,
walls stand between me and
the other side.
Fire bends across the rock,
watch the flames climb high.
I see fire
burning on and on
the mountain slide.
VI · Memories Fell Apart
Did the wind blow any messages,
the messages from a death?
Fell asleep by the river bed,
ah,
Don't wake so easily.
VII · How Could I Save You
Flow away, please
away into a hole.
Where have no strings can hold you back.
Why don't you ask
is this all real
or it is just a tale.
